- We are proud to operate as an eco-friendly resort, committed to preserving the natural beauty of Raja Ampat. To help you prepare for your stay, here are a few things to note:
- No Air Conditioner
We do not use air conditioning to reduce energy consumption. Each bungalow is equipped with ceiling fans and designed to allow natural sea breeze for your comfort. - Electricity Schedule
Electricity runs at specific times: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM. Our overwater bungalows stay cool and breezy even when the power is off. - Shower Water
We use distilled ocean water that’s about 70% fresh. You may feel a slight saltiness, but it’s perfectly refreshing after a swim or a day under the sun. We also don’t have any hot water for the shower. - Food Storage
To keep your bungalow clean and prevent attracting wildlife, we kindly recommend not storing food inside your room. Our restaurant is happy to store it safely for you.

You must buy a Raja Ampat PIN before entering the site. The PIN is only available for purchase offline at the counter. The prices are IDR 1,000,000 for international visitors and IDR 500,000 for local visitors. The PIN is valid for one year. Upon arrival, you can ask our staff to assist you with the purchase.
- Take a midnight flight and arrive at Domine Eduard Osok Airport in Sorong, West Papua.
- Our driver will meet you at the airport (transportation fee is included in your package).
- You will take a ferry from Sorong to Waisai Island (transportation fee is included in your package).
- Upon arrival at Waisai Island, our team will pick you up and transfer you to Katembe Private Island by speedboat.
We have everything you might need on the island, but it’s best to bring your own essentials, such as sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, bug repellent, and any personal needs also snorkeling or diving gear if you have them.
You will be staying in a breathtaking paradise with an eco-living concept. As part of our commitment to sustainability, our resort does not provide air conditioning; instead, each room is equipped with a ceiling fan to embrace the natural island breeze. Most of our past guests have not taken malaria vaccinations before visiting our resort, and there have been no reported cases of malaria on the island. However, if you prefer to take extra precautions, you may choose to get vaccinated before your trip.

The water used is partially fresh, distilled from seawater, and about 70% fresh. While it may differ slightly from what you're used to, it's a part of our effort to protect and preserve the beautiful nature surrounding our resort.
For the best connection, we invite you to use our Starlink-powered internet available at the restaurant area. Currently, this is the only place with Wi-Fi access, allowing you to stay connected while also enjoying a more mindful, unplugged experience in your bungalow.
