The Coral Package is specially designed for travelers seeking a deeper connection with the ocean and marine conservation. During the experience, guests will learn about coral reef ecosystems, the importance of reef preservation, and how coral transplantation helps restore damaged marine habitats in Raja Ampat.
Guests will then have the opportunity to directly plant baby corals in the Katembe Reef area alongside our dedicated coral team. Both divers and snorkelers are welcome to participate, making this eco-friendly activity accessible for everyone who wishes to contribute to coral restoration efforts.
Since 2024, Katembe has successfully replanted more than 50 baby corals, and our growing coral garden becomes more vibrant and beautiful every month — helping strengthen the future of Raja Ampat’s marine ecosystem.
